Behind the Music
Inspired by the voices of Martina McBride, Pam Tillis, and Trisha Yearwood, and writers such as Matraca Berg, Dean Dillon, Brandy Clark, Lori McKenna, and Miranda Lambert, Megan began playing with language and bringing life to songs from an early age.
Recently, she’s been recognized as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, received an honorable mention by American Songwriter Magazine, and recognized as One to Watch by the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
From opry stages in her early teens and later collaborations as a singer and songwriter with the Decker Prairie Band, Megan hopes you will follow along as the journey continues in Music City.
