2024 INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION WINNER:
"Pretty Good," written by Abbey Rowe, Cedric Israel, and Megan Kelley, won 3rd place in the Unpublished category and earned honorable mention in the country category. "Not All Daddies," written by Ryan Jacobs, Megan Kelley, and Dana Snyder, earned honorable mention in the Lyrics category. Both songs placed in the top 1% of 14,000 entries from across 112 countries. Behind the Music
Texas-born and Nashville-based, singer-songwriter Megan Kelley draws inspiration from Martina McBride, Pam Tillis, and Trisha Yearwood, blending their melodies with the lyrical finesse of Dean Dillon and Miranda Lambert. Starting her journey on Texas opry stages, Megan honed her craft as a storyteller, channeling raw emotion into songs that resonate across genres.

Named "One to Watch" by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, Megan has earned recognition from American Songwriter, was a finalist in Texas Songwriter U, and won 3rd place in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition. Her songs, recorded by Nashville artists Jenna Kay, Billy Dutch, Emma James, and McKenna Faith Winters reflect her ability to weave personal and shared stories into memorable music. Megan remains dedicated to supporting the songwriting community and creating heartfelt, impactful songs.
